God i hate tight arsed clients. Usually 75 year old midgit battle axe widows who have made their fortunes by doing fuck all and living off their husbands hard work, so hard in fact he worked himself into the ground and never actually got to enjoy any of it and his grieving widow spends the following years fucking off all over the world with her co-widows enjoying the high life. 6 Years ago said battle axe got a load of financial advice that has since provided her with a steady £15k a year investment income AND about £50ks worth of growth to boot. In that 5 years shes had a minimum of 2 1-2hr visits a year, complete inheritance tax planning and advice on tap whenever she needs it. It comes to the time to make some portfolio changes and what does the old fucker do?!?! Starts asking for a fucking discount then complains when I won't give her one and refuses to make the changes DESPITE agreeing that they need to be done.

Just got a memo that my standard, weekly meeting with one of my supervisors will not include BOTH supervisors. Ugh. I can't help but be worried about this. I can't be fired, not that I think it will happen, but it's pretty much impossible to fire people for under-performing here. Nonetheless, I feel my response time has been good and I'm more on top of my work than ever. Still, I'm mentally shitting my pants.
