Today I was the victim of having to work on the desk no1 wants to work on. It is an intermediate position and i was informed i am now earning LESS than all of the checkout workers because i took a career break after working there gave me an anxiety disorder. Being screamed at all day does that to you. On the terms that I return to work I was told I would maintain my old rate of pay but nooooo - they look blankly and say its not "on the system" whatever that means. So I am now earning the lowest in the store to do mid-level supervision and customer services. I am not having that! I dont see how I have somehow lost the entitlement to even their minimum pay. |
