Just thought I'd say hey. I was reading my blog for shits and giggles and thought I would update it. I did take the dispatcher job that pays shit, but I got a small raise. (Emphasis is on the SMALL part, but I'll take what I can get.) I've checked out some other opportunities but nothing really pans out ever. But, I'm over halfway done with my masters now - nearly ALL done with the actual classes, it's just the internship and thesis that will be a bitch. I start my internship - which is actually at a really good site - this fall. I've had some issues with the current job, but I discovered that 2/3 of my supervisors are good people. One understands every one of my frustrations, tells me that I'm one of the top people in terms of numbers, and therefore she doesn't want me to be frustrated so I can always come to her if I am.

Still haven't made a dent in the debt, still need - and can't afford - a new car more than ever. I broke up with the wonderful boyfriend and got a crackerbox apartment, and I'm happy with it. I did pay off all my medical bills. I've got good friends (who showered me with kitchen utensils when I realized that I could do better, much better, than the man I was settling for), I try to enjoy every good moment in my life that I can squeeze out of it, I'm seeing a therapist ('cuz it doesn't reflect badly on you if you do, so don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise!), and I'm pulling off a 3.95 gpa in my own quest to become a therapist.

So smile. Heads up. Hold on to whatever life you've got left in ya. :)
