Sometimes I wonder who is really wrong

Last year there was a stereotypical "welfare-bum" on my softball team. Everyone looked down on him like he was some kind of sub-human being. I kind of liked the guy, he was honest and he had a heart of gold. I wonder if the reason we hate people on welfare is not the stupid assed "our taxes pay for their laziness" excuse, but maybe we are just jealous that they have the fuckin NERVE to live that lifestyle. The guy was collecting his 500 a month and he would work under the table to make ends meet and then some. Sure he had cable and ate junk food but its not a glamorous life. He didn't have a family, a house or a car, and his clothes were kind of ratty looking and everyone treated him like shit. Me and one of my friends used to always talk to this guy, just pick his brain and it made me almost respect his decision. I mean there is something about that life, sure everyone looks down on you and you don't have much money but at least you don't have to face the bullshit cuntdribbling everyday reality of having to walk into work everyday. ahhh imagine falling asleep in the wee hours of the morning listening to AM talk radio? Sure it sounds depressing but it can't be much worse than the alternative that we are living.

Because people on welfare have totally free medical..for what..sitting on thier asses all day...I work two jobs and have to pay for what shitty ass insurance (if thats what you call it)...I should just quit them both, and just collect welfare..I know someone who has been on welfare all her adult lift..gets totally free medical, and runs to the doctor or hospital at the drop of a hat..I cant even have basic tests done...or see a doctor when I am sick...maybe if this goverment cared about ALL people, we could have a healthcare system where you don't have to be on welfare, or be lucky and have good benefits..all medical is right now is a big business..I would be ashamed to work in the medical field..no insurance..well hell with you then!!

sorry, but if he's making money under the table while collecting welfare, hes stealing. i would look down on him, too. dont try to rationalize it - its stealing.

im sure hes a nice guy, but just one with no ethics, like most people anymore.

Nobody in the U.S. has ethics anymore.

If they did, no one currently in Congress would be elected as dog catcher.

youre wrong. there are people with ethics and conscience.

in my opinion, they are rare in government, though. the clerical pool in local governments is a collection of the laziest, most whiny people ive ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

Kind of like the conversation Ferris Beuller's sister has with Charlie Sheen about ditching school.

I knew a guy once who would work for like six months, figure out a way to get "let go" and then take six months off collecting unemployment. He was in a constant cycle that lasted over twenty years. He's probably still doing it today. He didn't have much, but was one of the happiest dudes I've ever met.

I think you're sexually frustrated.

Probably, but 95% of the worlds population acts more frustrated than me. Those up tight fat bitches with no lives who can't take a joke come to mind. So does the guy sitting beside me who can't keep his leg still and hits on ALL the girls, but I think he blows some steam off working out. The worst are the fat ones, beware of those fat fucks. No sex, no activity, just sitting there getting fatter and fatter.
