Well... It's been a while since I felt the need to post. Too long I guess.

If anyone reads my previous posts, I've been gone from that positoin for about 6 months. I got a position in a manufacturers "marketing department" and am something of the de facto "Director of Marketing"... big deal.

After less then 6 months here I'm already looking for another job. If I had know what I was in store for I'd have never taken this position, I'd have simply quit my other job, packed my tent, and moved back to the "real world" where shit makes sense.

I now work for the owner of this firm who had the balls to walk in after I spent two days trying to fix a webpage that FIVE (!!!) other people before me had hacked on and tell me that; "Oh... we don't carry those products anymore. I didn't know if I should tell you before you did the page or just wait and let you fix it afterwards."

What a retard! Yeah, it's better to let me waste two days trying to clean up other peoples messes as opposed to telling me the mess is not relevant do the page from scratch with the correct data.

How do such stupid people always end up as managers and business owners?!?!?!?

I'm ready to walk out and just move. Every day I pass under the interstate that would lead me home and say to myself... "you know... all it takes is the going. All I have to do is veer to the right and in about 22 hours, take a left. Then I'd be home."

Oh well... I'm about ready to admit defeat. I've been fighting this dragon for 35 years and I'm tired. If there was a way to simply cease to be I'd be ready for it. But of course, that isn't possible. We must each live out the sentence in hell we've been condemned to.
