Thought

There should be one huge conference in 2-3 years for everyone who posts on this site-

It would be the funniest conference- between all of the stories alone

That is a great idea. Urban, I left the job that brought me here too. I have read your blogs, wow, I am glad you are out and into something new. I read about the guy that was hired when you were, and the differences, I see that in my new job also. I have had a new job for going on 7 months and I still love it. It is gov. I simply love it. I will repeat: usajobs.com. Look for a gov job. We work hard here and there is competion, just like my old working week. The people are decent though, things are fair from what I have seen. Oh, I do have a grip, I drink tea, that means I like hot clean water. Well, that is not happening. As a govt worker, we can't have what is considered an extra, filtered hot water. I can buy it down stairs for 1.25 but, I better forget about getting my hot tea on the floor I work for free. Otherwise, I am spoken to decently, treated well so I have no complaints.
I just read what I wrote, I am fussing about hot water. My gosh, I have it good. I keep coming back here because, I want all of you to find a job where you are respected, accpreciated at. A job where you go home and feel like you made some difference. Hell, at one point, I was going to farm chickens to get out of the job I was in. My job was driving me insane. I have been gone from there 7 months and still do the monthy closing at the old job. I think that is ending, I have trained an old boss of mine.(not the one that slammed her hand down asking if I wanted her job, no not her) Did I tell you, I want to show off a bit: I told my old job that I consider mysef a contractor and me pay is 35/hr. I have made a small, small fortune. A few hundred dollars in the bank.
Just see what happens to you urban, you will see there is life out there. I am looking to actually buy a house. I was a fuc_-up mess working for people who had no idea what I was bringing to the table. I didn't mention the fact I was being paid 46K/y and this guy I trained is at 70K? He is older but really, if a company is looking at costs, they could have offered 50K and I probably would have stayed, but I was not a man. Can't do the man thing.
I am ramblimg yet again, I don't mean to be a bother.

see you all later
